The Inter-Tech K-1696-P2 (article 88885592) is a compact M.2 to USB-C adapter for technicians and IT departments who read, clone or wipe many different SSDs: it accepts both PCIe NVMe and SATA M.2 drives with M-key or B+M-key, in lengths from 2230 to 2280, and connects over USB 3.2 Gen 2 at up to 10Gbps.
The SSD simply slides into the slot — no tools, no screws — and LEDs show power/ready and drive activity. It is bus-powered and works with Windows, macOS and Linux without drivers.
Before you order: This is an open adapter, not a closed enclosure: the SSD is not covered or protected, so it suits the workbench rather than carrying in a bag. The SSD is not included.
