The Inter-Tech 88887204 is a set of 20-inch (500 mm) telescopic rails for 19-inch server and IPC cases, fitting racks with a mounting depth of 440-495 mm and carrying up to 30 kg, so a case can slide out of the rack for service without being unscrewed.
Telescopic rails are what turn a rackmount case from a fixed box into a serviceable server: pull it forward, open the lid, swap a drive or a fan, slide it back. The rails fix to the front and rear 19-inch rails of the cabinet with the four supplied brackets, and the inner members attach to the side of the case. Inter-Tech builds them in 1.1 mm steel with a silver finish, and they add 49 mm of mounting height including the brackets.
Before you order: Inter-Tech states these rails are not suitable for 1U cases (the only 1U exception is the Inter-Tech K-126L). Check two things before ordering: the case has 2U or greater height with rail mounting points on its sides, and the distance between the front and rear 19-inch rails of your cabinet falls within 440-495 mm. The mounting depth depends on how the brackets are fitted in the rack.

- Loads above 30 kg: fully populated heavy storage chassis need a heavier rail kit.
