The Jabra Engage 55 SE MS Stereo (9659-455-111) is a two-ear DECT wireless headset for busy offices and contact centres where people need to leave the desk during a call. It connects to your PC through the Link 400a (USB-A) DECT adapter, reaches up to 150 m, and this version ships with the charging stand, so the headset parks and charges at the desk. As the MS version it is built for Microsoft Teams, with the Teams button and Teams LED on the Link 400 adapter. DECT keeps the link separate from crowded Wi-Fi and Bluetooth bands, and the security goes beyond DECT Security Level C with FIPS 140-2 256-bit encryption.
Compatibility — check before buying:
PC only. The Engage 55 SE connects through the USB DECT adapter — there is no desk-phone port, no Bluetooth and no mobile connection. If you need a desk phone or mobile at the same time, look at the Engage 65 SE or 75 SE base-station models. This one uses the Link 400a (USB-A): your computer needs a USB-A port. For Zoom or other UC softphones the UC twin 9659-415-111 is the matching choice. Without the stand, the same headset is 9659-450-111. Tell us your PC and softphone and we will confirm the right version.
