Jabra Engage 55 SE MS Stereo — DECT Headset with Link 400c USB-C Adapter and Charging Stand
DECT up to 150 mCharging stand included13 h talk, swappable batteryMicrosoft Teams version
The Jabra Engage 55 SE MS Stereo (9659-475-111) is a two-ear DECT wireless headset for busy offices and contact centres where people need to leave the desk during a call. It connects to your PC through the Link 400c (USB-C) DECT adapter, reaches up to 150 m, and this version ships with the charging stand, so the headset parks and charges at the desk. As the MS version it is built for Microsoft Teams, with the Teams button and Teams LED on the Link 400 adapter. DECT keeps the link separate from crowded Wi-Fi and Bluetooth bands, and the security goes beyond DECT Security Level C with FIPS 140-2 256-bit encryption.
Compatibility — check before buying:
PC only. The Engage 55 SE connects through the USB DECT adapter — there is no desk-phone port, no Bluetooth and no mobile connection. If you need a desk phone or mobile at the same time, look at the Engage 65 SE or 75 SE base-station models. This one uses the Link 400c (USB-C): your computer needs a USB-C port. For Zoom or other UC softphones the UC twin 9659-435-111 is the matching choice. Without the stand, the same headset is 9659-470-111. Tell us your PC and softphone and we will confirm the right version.
Best For
✓ Contact centres with people moving away from the desk
✓ Warehouses and offices where 150 m DECT range helps
✓ Long shifts — the battery can be swapped
✓ Microsoft Teams calling
✓ Crowded offices where Bluetooth is congested
✓ Several headsets joining one call (up to 4 on one adapter)
Key Features
DECT range and security
Up to 150 m of range through the Link 400c (USB-C), with encryption that Jabra describes as beyond DECT Security Level C and FIPS 140-2 256-bit.
Stand and fast charge
The included charging stand keeps the headset ready. Jabra publishes 40% in 30 minutes, 80% in 60 minutes and a full charge in about 90 minutes.
Battery for long shifts
Up to 13 h talk time. The stereo battery is user-replaceable and supports in-call charging, so a spare pack can keep one headset running across shifts.
Voice and hearing protection
Two microphones (uni-directional ECM plus analog MEMS) focus on your voice, while PeakStop, SafeTone 2.0, EU Noise at Work and G616 protect your hearing. A busylight tells colleagues you are on a call.

Singular Expert Insight
Stereo Engage 55 SE is the right choice when people need to hear clearly in a loud room and move around the building, but only take calls on the PC. It weighs 83 g, against 57 g for the mono version, and both run 13 h. If your team also uses desk phones, the Engage 65 SE and 75 SE bases are worth the step up. See all office and VoIP headsets.
