The Jabra 8800-01-37 is a coiled headset bottom cord designed specifically to connect a Jabra Quick Disconnect (QD) wired headset to Cisco IP desk phones that use a modular RJ-9 headset port. The coiled shape means it stretches up to two metres when you walk around your desk and retracts neatly when you sit back down, keeping the headset wire under control. Cisco-specific wiring ensures correct audio routing — generic QD-to-RJ9 cords will often not work properly on Cisco handsets.
Compatibility Note: Wired for Cisco IP phones — confirmed compatible with Cisco IP 69xx, 78xx, 794x, 796x, 797x, 89xx and 99xx series. This is not a universal QD-to-RJ9 cord — for Avaya, Yealink, Polycom, Siemens or other vendors use the corresponding Jabra Cord with the correct vendor wiring.

If you have an Avaya, Yealink, Polycom or generic IP phone, pick the corresponding Jabra cord with the right pinout (8800-00-99, 8800-00-25, etc.). If you want full call control buttons (answer, hang up, volume) from the headset, the simple cord cannot do that — you need an EHS adapter or a wireless Jabra Engage solution.
