The Jabra Perform 10, order code 5121-119, is a rugged single-ear wired earpiece that plugs into an Android handheld and turns it into a walkie-talkie. A hardware push-to-talk button on the in-line controller keys the transmit in a software PTT app, so staff on a shop floor, in a warehouse or at an event can talk to each other through the phones and scanners they already carry. It is IP67 rated and weighs 35 g in total.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Three things decide whether this is the right part. It is Android only. Jabra makes it for Android devices and handhelds and its own support listing titles this order code "Android only" — it is not a UC-certified headset for a Windows softphone deployment, only compatible with USB-HID UC clients. It is USB-C only — there is no 3.5 mm version and no USB-A version. And it is not a radio: the PTT button keys a software app, so you need one running. Jabra publishes compatibility with the Walkie Talkie app in Microsoft Teams, Zello and Zebra Workcloud Sync, and says it works with any USB-HID and CDC PTT app. Note also that it is behind-the-ear with an earhook, not an in-ear earbud — no ear tips are supplied, and none are published.

Will it work with my iPhone or my Windows PC?
Jabra publishes this as an Android product — its own support listing for this order code says Android only. It is not UC certified and Jabra does not support it on iOS. On a Windows machine it will present as a USB-HID device and may work with a compatible PTT client, but that is not a supported configuration. Tell us what handhelds your team carries and we will check.
Is it an earbud?
No. Jabra publishes it as mono, behind the ear, with an adjustable earpiece on a soft reinforced earhook. It hangs on the ear rather than sealing into the canal, and no ear tips or eargels are supplied. Some distributor listings describe it as in-ear; that is not what Jabra publishes.
Does the push-to-talk button work on its own?
No — it is not a radio. The button keys the transmit in a software walkie-talkie app running on the handheld. Jabra names Microsoft Teams Walkie Talkie, Zello and Zebra Workcloud Sync, and says it works with any USB-HID or CDC PTT app. You need one of those deployed for the button to do anything.
How is it different from the Jabra Perform 45?
Connectivity, and the order codes are one digit apart. The Perform 45 (5101-119) is Bluetooth wireless; the Perform 10 (5121-119) is wired USB-C. Same rugged behind-the-ear idea, completely different connection. Ordering by name alone is how the wrong one arrives.

This is a tool, not an office headset. The IP67 rating and the -30 to 60 °C range are the reason it exists: it survives a chilled store room, a wet loading bay and being dropped on concrete, which is where ordinary headsets die. At 7.8 g on the ear staff forget they are wearing it. Two things to be exact about before ordering: it is Android and USB-C only, and it needs a PTT app on the handheld to do anything at all. Also check the fit expectation with your team — it hooks over the ear rather than sealing in it, and there are no tips in the box.
