The kabelmeister JW40-020MF-3 is a set of three 40-pin jumper wire ribbons, 0.2 m long, with male pins on one end and female sockets on the other, for connecting Arduino, Raspberry Pi and similar boards to breadboards, sensors and modules.
The individual wires can be peeled off the ribbon, so you can take exactly as many as a connection needs — one wire for a single signal or a full 40-wire ribbon for a complete header.
Before you order: Male-to-female only: use them from a breadboard or male pin header (male end) to a board header pin such as the Raspberry Pi GPIO (female end). For header-to-header or breadboard-to-breadboard links you need female-female or male-male wires.

What It Means in Practice
- Connect Raspberry Pi GPIO pins (female end onto the pin) to a breadboard (male end into the hole).
- Peel off single wires or groups to keep wiring tidy.
- 20 cm is long enough to reach a breadboard next to the board without loose loops.
What Will Not Work
- Header-to-header (pin to pin) connections — both ends would need to be female.
- Breadboard-to-breadboard jumpers — both ends would need to be male.
- Power wiring for motors or high-current loads; these are signal wires.
