kabelmeister SK0870-W005 · IEC C8 to C7 Figure-8 Extension Cable, 0.5 m, White
C8 → C70.5 m2.5 A / 250 VWhite
The kabelmeister SK0870-W005 is a 0.5 m white extension cable for two-pin “figure-8” power connections: it has an IEC C8 plug on one end and a C7 socket on the other, so it adds 0.5 m between an existing C7 power cord and a TV, games console, printer, soundbar or small power adapter.
It uses H03VVH2-F flat cable with 2 x 0.75 mm² conductors and straight connectors with strain relief at both ends, rated 2.5 A at 250 V.
Before you order: This is an extension, not a complete power cord: you still need the original C7 cord (with its wall plug) at one end.
What's in the Box
- 1 x kabelmeister C8 to C7 figure-8 extension cable, 0.5 m, white
What It Means in Practice
- Plug the existing figure-8 power cord into the C7 socket of this cable, and its C8 plug into the device.
- 0.5 m is the short fix when the cord is just a little too short, for example behind a wall-mounted TV.
- White cable blends in with white TV units, walls and skirting boards.
What Will Not Work
- It does not plug into a wall socket on its own.
- It does not fit cloverleaf (C5/C6) laptop adapters or three-pin C13/C14 connections.
- It has no earth conductor and is only for two-pin Class II devices with a C8 inlet.
- It does not add surge protection.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Extending the figure-8 cord is often neater than adding a power strip, especially behind a wall-mounted TV where the original cord is just too short. kabelmeister builds it with VDE-tested cable material and strain relief at both ends. For laptop chargers see our laptop power supplies.
✓ Buy it if the figure-8 cord of your TV, console or printer is just too short and you want a tidy white extension.
✕ Skip it if you need a complete power cord, or the device has a cloverleaf (C6) or C14 inlet.
→ Also consider the 2 m Good Connections P0870-W020 if you need more reach.
