The Kensington Desktop and Peripherals Standard Keyed Locking Kit 2.0 is a keyed security kit with a 2.4 m steel cable that locks a desktop computer together with its keyboard, mouse and other peripherals to the desk, for offices, schools, reception areas and any shared space where equipment walks.

A single keyed lock with a 10 mm T-bar head goes into the computer’s standard Kensington Security Slot, while the kit’s adapters, cable trap and anchor plate gather the other devices onto the same cable — including devices that have no security slot of their own. The cable is 2.4 m long, long enough to reach from a tower under the desk to the peripherals on top.
