The Kensington Expert Mouse Wired Optical Trackball 64325 is a professional stationary pointing device built around a large 55 mm finger-operated ball, 400 DPI optical tracking and Kensington's dedicated Scroll Ring. Its ambidextrous layout, four programmable buttons and removable wrist rest make it suitable for precise desktop control without requiring the movement space of a conventional mouse.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is the wired USB-A version of the Expert Mouse trackball. Kensington lists compatibility with Windows, macOS and ChromeOS. Computers equipped only with USB-C require a suitable USB-C to USB-A adapter.

Singular Expert Insight
The defining feature of the Expert Mouse 64325 is its combination of a large 55 mm ball, dedicated Scroll Ring and four programmable buttons. Compared with Kensington's smaller Orbit models, it gives you a larger control surface and twice the button count while keeping the housing stationary. The 400 DPI specification is modest by gaming-mouse standards, but DPI alone is not directly comparable between a finger-operated trackball and a conventional mouse because the control method is different. This model is wired USB-A and includes a removable wrist rest, making it best suited to a permanent desktop workstation rather than mobile use.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a large ambidextrous trackball with four programmable buttons, dedicated ring scrolling and wired reliability for a permanent desk setup.
Skip it if
You need Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity, want a compact travel trackball, or prefer a conventional high-DPI mouse for fast sweeping movements.
Check first
Make sure your computer has a USB-A port or a suitable USB-C adapter, and allow enough desk depth for the full-size trackball and removable wrist rest.
