The Kingston Server Premier KSM56R46BS8PMI-24HMI is a 24GB (1x24GB) DDR5-5600 CL46 server RDIMM memory module for servers and workstations that take DDR5 registered ECC memory. It is a single 24GB module.
It runs at its rated setting, stored in its SPD (DDR5-5600 CL46-45-45, 1.1V (JEDEC)), with no BIOS changes. It is a JEDEC-standard Server Premier part built with SK hynix M-die DRAM, so it behaves like the reference modules server vendors qualify.
Before you order: RDIMM works only in boards and servers that support registered DDR5 (Xeon, EPYC, Threadripper PRO-class platforms). It will not work in desktop PCs that use unbuffered DDR5, and it should not be mixed with UDIMMs or with RDIMMs of a different rank or capacity in the same system.

What It Means in Practice
- 24GB per module lets you fill every memory channel without jumping to 32GB modules — useful on platforms with 8 or 12 channels where balanced population matters for bandwidth.

What Will Not Work
- Desktop PCs and gaming motherboards — they need unbuffered (UDIMM) DDR5.
- DDR4 servers — DDR5 RDIMMs have a different key and do not fit.
- Systems that require LRDIMM or 3DS RDIMM only, or vendor-locked memory.
- Mixing with existing RDIMMs of a different capacity or rank in the same channel set — the system may refuse to boot or drop speed.
