Kingston Industrial 64GB SDXC Card — Class 10 · UHS-I U3 · Video Speed Class V30 · A1
64GBIndustrial pSLC-40 °C to 85 °C3-year warranty (Kingston)
The Kingston Industrial 64GB (SDIT/64GB) is a full-size SDXC memory card rated Class 10 · UHS-I U3 · Video Speed Class V30 · A1, for industrial and embedded devices that need endurance and wide temperature range.
Unlike consumer cards, it runs TLC flash in pSLC mode (30K P/E cycles, up to 1920 TBW at 64GB) and adds power-failure protection, wear levelling and health monitoring. It is made for embedded systems, industrial PCs and HMIs, data loggers, POS and medical equipment, outdoor cameras and other devices that write continuously or sit in heat and cold.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Kingston Industrial 64GB SDXC memory card
- No card reader is included — to copy files to a PC without an SD slot, add a USB card reader
What It Means in Practice
- Usable space: a 64GB card shows about 59.6 GB in Windows or Android — binary counting and file-system overhead, not a fault.
- Cards of 64GB and larger are SDXC and use exFAT. Devices that only support SD/SDHC (up to 32GB) cannot use them, so check that your camera, phone or recorder lists SDXC support.
- Kingston publishes up to 100 MB/s read and 80 MB/s write for the Industrial SD line, without separate figures per capacity. For industrial use the more important number is endurance: up to 1920 TBW at 64GB, far beyond a typical consumer card.
- Format the card in the device you will use it in (camera, drone, dashcam, phone) before the first recording; this sets the correct file system and avoids card errors.
- Full-size SD goes straight into cameras, camcorders and laptop SD slots without any adapter.
What Will Not Work
- It is a full-size SD card, not microSD — it does not fit phones, tablets, drones or action cameras, and no adapter converts SD to microSD.
- The pSLC endurance costs capacity per euro — for simply storing photos in a camera, a consumer V30 card is cheaper per GB.
- Devices that only read SD/SDHC (up to 32GB) will not use this SDXC card.
- A memory card is not a backup: copy important photos and video to a PC or cloud regularly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it work in my phone or drone?
Only if the device has a full-size SD slot. Phones, drones and action cameras use microSD, and a full-size SD card cannot be adapted down.
Why does my old device not see the card?
Cards of 64GB and larger are SDXC/exFAT. Older devices limited to SDHC (32GB) cannot read them; check the device manual for SDXC support.
Do I need to format it before use?
It is ready to use, but formatting it once in the device that will record to it is recommended, especially for cameras, drones and dashcams.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
With memory cards, the speed class printed on the card matters more than the headline MB/s: Class 10/U1 is enough for photos and Full HD, while 4K cameras and drones ask for U3 / V30. For 24/7 writing devices, endurance (pSLC, TBW) and power-loss protection matter more still. Check what your device manual requires, then compare capacities in our
memory cards range.
✓ Buy it if you need a reliable SD card for an industrial PC, data logger, POS, kiosk, outdoor camera or any device that writes 24/7.
✕ Skip it if your device takes microSD, or you just want cheap storage for a holiday camera.
→ Also consider Kingston Industrial microSD (SDCIT2 series) for devices with a microSD slot.
