KMP C151 Compatible Ink Refill Bottle for Canon GI-56 Y (4432C001), Yellow, 135 ml, up to 14,000 Pages

KMP C151 is a yellow ink refill bottle made by KMP PrintTechnik AG (Germany) as a compatible replacement for the Canon GI-56 Y (4432C001), holding 135 ml and rated at up to 14,000 pages for Canon MAXIFY GX MegaTank printers that use GI-56 ink bottles.

Canon MAXIFY GX printers are business MegaTank models: instead of cartridges they have refillable ink tanks, filled from bottles. This bottle refills the yellow tank.

• 1 × KMP C151 ink refill bottle, yellow, 135 ml (replaces Canon GI-56 Y (4432C001))
• Single bottle only — the printer, the other colours and any printhead are not included

• KMP rates this 135 ml bottle at up to 14,000 pages. Actual pages depend on how much colour your documents carry; business charts and logos use far less than photos.
• Refill one colour at a time, slowly, with the printer switched on and the tank lid open only for the colour you are filling. Cap the bottle straight after use and store it upright, away from heat and sunlight.
• If you are switching an existing tank over from genuine ink, it is best to top up when the tank is low rather than mixing two inks in a nearly full tank. Run one nozzle check after the first refill so you see clean output before an important job.
• Fill only the tank of the matching colour. The tanks are labelled on the printer; a wrong colour mixes inks in the tank and the supply line to the printhead.
• For colour-critical photo work, print one test page after the change and compare it with your previous output before a large job.
• Keep spare cartridges or bottles sealed until you need them; ink in an opened container slowly dries at the nozzle or outlet, and a sealed pack keeps the ink in the condition it left the factory.

• It will not fit PIXMA G-series printers that take GI-50, GI-51, GI-41 or GI-490 bottles.
• It is yellow only — the pigment black GI-56 PGBK and the other colours are separate.
• It cannot be used in cartridge-based MAXIFY MB or PIXMA printers.
• It does not repair a clogged or worn printhead. If the original ink already printed streaks or missing lines, run the printer's cleaning cycle first — new ink cannot fix a printhead fault.
