The Kyocera MK-3170 (1702T68NL0) is the genuine maintenance kit for the Kyocera ECOSYS P3050dn, P3055dn and P3060dn mono laser printers, replacing the drum unit, developer unit, fuser and the main transfer and paper feed rollers at the 500,000-page service interval.
When the printer reaches its maintenance interval it asks for the kit. Installing it restores print quality and paper handling to factory condition, and Kyocera requires the kit to be fitted at the interval to keep the printer warranty valid. Kyocera specifies installation by Kyocera or an authorised Kyocera service partner, so this is a service part rather than a user-replaceable consumable like toner.
Before you order: Check your printer model before ordering. MK-3170 fits only the ECOSYS P3050dn, P3055dn and P3060dn. The P3045dn uses MK-3160, and the P3145dn, P3150dn, P3155dn and P3260dn use different kits.
