Lanberg KSU5-1090 — an angled Cat.5e keystone for shallow boxes
Cat.5eUTPLSA 90°PoE
The Lanberg KSU5-1090 is a Cat.5e unshielded RJ45 keystone module with an LSA punch-down block and a 90° cable entry, made for wall and mounting boxes. The installation cable enters from the side rather than from the back, which helps when the box is shallow or the cable arrives along the wall. It accepts 22–26 AWG conductors, has a colour-coded cover for both T568A and T568B, and a white ABS body with phosphor-bronze contacts rated for more than 750 mating cycles. It supports PoE, so a phone, camera or access point can be powered through it.
Compatibility — check before buying:
You need an LSA punch-down tool to terminate it — the module is not toolless and the tool is not included. This is Cat.5e UTP: it is not for shielded (FTP/STP) cable or a Cat.6/Cat.6A installation. It fits 45 × 45 and 22.5 × 45 sockets and other keystone-standard frames. For a straight rear cable entry, Lanberg makes a 180° version of the same module. Tell us the model you have and we check it before you order.
