The Lanberg KSF7-2000 is a shielded Cat 7 keystone module with an RJ45 socket on the front and toolless LSA termination at the back, designed for installers who terminate shielded copper cable into keystone patch panels, wall outlets and surface boxes. The 180° (straight) design means the cable enters directly from the rear of the module.
The metal housing gives 360° shielding for S/FTP or F/FTP cable, and the colour-coded contacts for both T568A and T568B make punching down quick and consistent. Lanberg states it can be terminated without a tool, while still being compatible with an LSA tool if you prefer one.
Before you order: RJ45 is not part of the ISO Cat 7 (Class F) connector standard, so in practice this is a high-grade shielded RJ45 keystone for Cat 7 or Cat 6A cable. For a certified permanent link, the whole channel must be measured.

What It Means in Practice
- Terminate the cable by pressing the wires into the colour-coded IDC contacts and closing the cover — no punch-down tool needed.
- Snaps into any keystone opening of 14.5 × 16.1 mm: modular patch panels, 45 × 45 mm adapters, wall plates and surface boxes.
- The shield of the cable must be bonded to the metal housing, and the panel must be earthed, otherwise shielding gives no benefit.
What Will Not Work
- It will not fit fixed-jack patch panels (panels with built-in RJ45 ports).
- It is not for unshielded (U/UTP) installations where the rest of the system is not earthed — use an unshielded keystone there.
- It does not accept stranded patch cable thicker than 22 AWG or thinner than 26 AWG.
