The LANCOM SPSU-920 (item 61498) is a hot-swappable 920 W power supply module for LANCOM PoE access switches. It slides into the second power slot of a supported switch and either doubles as a redundant supply or raises the PoE budget in boost mode. It takes 100–240 V AC, delivers 54.5 V DC at up to 16.88 A, has over-current, over-voltage and over-temperature protection and can be inserted during operation. The module measures 220 × 40 × 74 mm and weighs 900 g. On the GS-3652XUP, for example, the switch datasheet gives 720 W of PoE with one supply and 1,440 W with a second one.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Redundancy or more PoE — not both at full load. In boost mode the second supply raises the PoE budget, but then a single supply can no longer carry the full load. LANCOM lists the GS-3152XSP, GS-3652XUP, GS-4530XP, GS-4554XP, GS-4530XUP, GS-4554XUP, XS-3550YUP, XS-4554YUP and XS-4530YUP. It does not fit switches that use the SPSU-250, -400 or -750.
