LevelOne POR-0222 Gigabit PoE+ Repeater — 1 In, 2 PoE Out
GigabitPoE in · 2 × PoE out+100 m per unitNo power adapter needed
The LevelOne POR-0222 is a Gigabit PoE repeater that extends an Ethernet and PoE link beyond the 100 m copper limit and splits it to two powered devices. It is itself powered by the PoE from an 802.3af/at switch or injector, so you install it mid-run — in a ceiling, a corridor or at the base of a pole indoors — where there is no mains socket.
Typical uses: reaching a camera or access point about 200 m from the switch (100 m + 100 m), or feeding two devices — for example two cameras — from one long cable run.
Before you order: It needs an IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at PoE source on its input (44–57 V). It is not an 802.3bt device. The power available at the outputs is what the source delivers minus the repeater’s own consumption (2.5 W max), shared between both output ports — check the total load before connecting two devices.
What's in the Box
- 1 × LevelOne POR-0222 PoE repeater
- 1 × quick installation guide
- No power adapter (powered by PoE), no network cables
What It Means in Practice
- 200 m instead of 100 m: switch → 100 m cable → POR-0222 → up to 100 m → PoE device.
- Two outputs: one long run can serve two PoE devices, as long as their combined power fits the source budget.
- LevelOne describes it as cascadable to triple the range or more, depending on how much power the end device needs — each extra hop leaves less power for the device.
- Gigabit on all three ports (10/100/1000Base-T) with IEEE 802.3x flow control.
- Metal housing 120 × 90 × 28 mm, 400 g, wall-mountable, LEDs for Power, PoE In and PoE Out.
What Will Not Work
- Working from a passive or non-PoE switch — it needs an 802.3af/at source.
- Powering 802.3bt (PoE++) devices that need more than the source can pass through.
- Outdoor installation — rated 0 to 50 °C indoors, no IP rating published.
- Fiber links — this is a copper repeater; for distances well beyond a few hundred metres use fiber media converters.
- Feeding two high-power devices from an 802.3af (15.4 W) source.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
A PoE repeater is the quickest fix when a camera or AP sits just past the 100 m limit and there is no power at the midpoint. Budget the power first: start from an 802.3at port on one of our switches with SFP ports and stay within 30 W for everything downstream. For runs of many hundreds of metres, fiber is the better long-term answer.
✓ Buy it if you need to reach one or two PoE devices 100–200 m from the switch without mains power at the midpoint.
✕ Skip it if your devices need 802.3bt power, the run is outdoors, or the distance is far beyond 300 m.
→ Also consider LevelOne POR-0100 (Fast Ethernet, single output) or a PoE media converter with fiber for long distances.
Tell us the device, its PoE class and the cable distances, and we will check the power budget before you order.
