The LevelOne AVF-1101 is a 1-channel BNC video over fiber extender kit that carries one uncompressed analogue camera signal — CVBS, AHD, TVI or CVI — up to 20 km over single-mode single fiber, for CCTV links that are too long or too exposed for coax.
It suits perimeter cameras, car parks, industrial sites and campuses where cameras sit far from the recorder or near power lines. Fiber is immune to electromagnetic interference and ground loops, and the units are rated for −20 to 70 °C.
Before you order: For analogue BNC cameras only (CVBS, AHD, TVI, CVI) — not HDMI and not IP cameras. It needs a single-mode fiber with FC connectors and a total link loss of no more than 18 dB.

- One analogue camera can be placed up to 20 km from the DVR on one fiber.
- No interference, hum or ground-loop problems near power lines, since the link is optical.

- Uncompressed 8-bit transmission keeps the camera picture as it leaves the camera.
