The LevelOne GTL-2885 is a 28-port L3 Lite managed Gigabit switch from the TURING series, with 24× 10/100/1000 RJ-45 access ports and 4× 1G/10G SFP+ uplinks, designed as the main access switch for offices, schools, campus floors and surveillance networks. Part number GTL-2885 is the 19-inch 1U rackmount model.

A 128 Gbps non-blocking fabric keeps all 28 ports at wire speed, while static IPv4/IPv6 routing, a built-in DHCP server, rich VLAN options and ERPS (G.8032) ring protection with sub-50 ms failover make it a capable edge or small-core switch.

Compatibility note: This is a non-PoE switch: phones, cameras and access points need a separate PoE switch or injectors. SFP+ modules or DAC cables for the 10G uplinks are not included. L3 Lite means static routing only (no OSPF/BGP).

Does the GTL-2885 support PoE?
No. It is a data-only switch. For PoE devices add a PoE switch such as the LevelOne GEP-1011, or choose a PoE model.
What does L3 Lite mean on the GTL-2885?
It can route between VLANs using static IPv4/IPv6 routes and hand out addresses with its DHCP server, but it does not run dynamic protocols like OSPF or BGP. For those, look at the XEL-1291.
What is the difference between the GTL-2885 and the GEU-2432?
Both offer 24 Gigabit ports, but the GTL-2885 is fully managed with VLANs, routing and 4× 10G SFP+ uplinks, while the GEU-2432 is an unmanaged plug-and-play switch without fiber uplinks.
