Lexmark 602H Black High Yield Return Programme Toner Cartridge, 10,000 Pages, for MX310, MX410, MX510, MX511, MX611

The Lexmark 602H is an original black toner cartridge rated at up to 10,000 pages (ISO/IEC 19752), made for the Lexmark MX310, MX410, MX510, MX511 and MX611 multifunction printers.

This is a Lexmark Return Programme cartridge: Lexmark sells it at a lower price under a single-use licence, and the empty cartridge goes back only to Lexmark (free collection) for remanufacturing or recycling.

• The rated 10,000 pages is measured with the ISO test pages, which cover about 5% of each page. Dense graphics, solid areas or photos use more toner, so your real page count can be lower; short text memos can give more.
• Higher-yield cartridges cost more up front but usually work out cheaper per page and mean fewer swaps on busy printers.
• Swapping takes about a minute: open the front door, pull out the empty cartridge, remove the packing and tape from the new one and slide it in until it clicks. The printer reads the chip and shows the remaining level on its panel or web page.
• Store spare cartridges sealed in the original bag and box, lying flat, away from heat and direct sunlight, and open them only when you are ready to install.

• It will not fit printers outside the list in the specification table, even if they look similar (for example the MS310, MS410, MS510 and MS610 printers, which take the 50F family).
• It cannot be refilled or re-used: the single-use licence means the cartridge stops after its rated toner and must go back to Lexmark.
• Lexmark cartridges are region-coded: this is the European code and will not work in printers set up for another region.
