Lindy 2-Channel Dante to HDMI ARC Decoder, Dante/AES67, PoE or USB-C Powered, 24-bit/96kHz, Metal Housing, Black
Lindy 2-Channel Dante to HDMI ARC Decoder
The Lindy 70621 is a 2-channel Dante to HDMI ARC decoder that takes a stereo stream from a Dante or AES67 audio network and outputs it over HDMI ARC to a TV, soundbar or AV receiver, so a networked audio system can feed a display’s speakers or a soundbar without analogue cabling.
It supports 24-bit audio at 44.1, 48 or 96kHz, is managed with Audinate Dante Controller, and is powered either by IEEE 802.3af PoE on its RJ45 port or by a 5V/3A USB-C supply. The small metal housing comes with mounting ears for fixing behind a display or under a desk.

- 2 × mounting ears with screws

What It Means in Practice
- Typical use: background music or a presenter’s audio from a Dante system played through a meeting-room TV or a soundbar.
- One RJ45 cable from a PoE switch gives both the Dante stream and power — no power adapter at the screen.
- Routing and sample rate are set in Dante Controller, like any other Dante device on the network.
- LEDs show readiness, identification in Dante Controller and data activity, which helps when commissioning.
What Will Not Work
- It does not carry video — it sends audio only, over the HDMI ARC channel.
- It does not output surround/multichannel audio; ARC output is 2-channel PCM.
- It will not work with TVs or soundbars without HDMI ARC support; eARC/CEC support is not published.
- It does not include a power supply — use PoE or buy a 5V/3A USB-C adapter.
