The Lindy Control Touchpad Desktop 32309 is a 10-inch Android-based control console that sits on a boardroom table or a lectern and drives the AV system in the room. You design the button layout on a PC or Mac with Lindy Pro Control software, upload it to the panel, and the touchpad then sends TCP/IP network commands or RS-485 serial commands to projectors, displays, matrix switches, screens and lighting. It replaces a drawer full of remote controls with one screen that shows only the buttons your room actually needs.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is the desktop model — the rear bracket is an adjustable desk stand and Lindy publishes no wall-mount option for it. Its serial port is RS-485, not RS-232, so a projector or display with a standard RS-232 D-Sub control port will not connect to it directly. If you need a wall panel, or an RS-232 port, the 4-inch Lindy 32310 is the one to order. Lindy Pro Control software also exposes IR and relay modules, but this hardware has no IR emitter output and no relay contacts.

Two ways to power it
Gigabit RJ45 with PoE 802.3af means one cable carries data and power up to 100 m over Cat.6. If the switch is not PoE, the included 24 V 1 A multi-country power supply plugs into the 2-pin terminal block instead.
Network and serial control in one panel
Sends TCP/IP commands to network-controllable AV kit and RS-485 commands over a 3-pin terminal block to serial devices, so a mixed rack is driven from a single page.
Programmed, not just configured
Lindy Pro Control for Windows and macOS is where the interface is built and pushed to the panel. The room gets exactly the buttons it needs and nothing else, and the layout can be revised later without new hardware.

The 10-inch screen is the reason it exists: every source, the volume and the screen control fit on one page without menus, which is the difference between a system people use and a system people phone you about. Programme it once with Lindy Pro Control and the room is settled. If the requirement is a small panel by the door, order the 4-inch 32310 instead, and note the serial difference: RS-485 here, RS-232 there.
