LogiLink ID0044 — Gel Keyboard Wrist Rest, Black
400 mm longGel filledLycra cover20 mm high
A keyboard wrist rest earns its place by stopping your wrists bending upward over the front edge of the board, and this one is sized for the job: 400 mm long, 65 mm deep and 20 mm high. LogiLink builds it from natural rubber, foam and gel under a lycra surface — gel for the give, foam for the shape underneath, lycra so the skin does not stick to bare gel on a warm afternoon. The underside is strongly adhering for an optimal hold, which on a light rest is what stops it creeping forward every time you lift your hands. LogiLink states plainly what it is for: it is gentle on the wrists and prevents signs of wrist fatigue. Black, nothing to plug in.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Two measurements decide this. First, 400 mm is the length: that suits a tenkeyless or compact keyboard and sits short of a full-size board with a number pad, which is typically 440 to 460 mm wide — you will have the numpad hanging over the end. If you want full coverage, choose a 460 mm or 575 mm rest instead. Second, 20 mm of height is on the tall side for a wrist rest: it suits a keyboard with feet up or a thicker board, and works against you under a very slim keyboard where it would tilt the wrist upward. Match the rest to the front-edge height of your keyboard rather than buying by length alone. There is no mouse pad in the box and it is not a mouse wrist rest — LogiLink sells the ID0136 for that. LogiLink publishes no washing instruction, so wipe rather than wash.
Best For
✓ Tenkeyless and compact keyboards
✓ Desks where the wrist bends up over the keyboard edge
✓ All-day typing
✓ Anyone who dislikes bare gel against the skin
✓ Keyboards used with the feet up
✓ Rests that keep sliding forward
Key Features
Gel under lycra
The gel gives, the lycra stops it clinging. That combination is what makes a gel rest still comfortable at the end of a long day.
It grips the desk
LogiLink specifies a strongly adhering underside — the difference between a rest that stays put and one you push back into place every ten minutes.
400 mm of support
Long enough to carry both wrists across a compact or tenkeyless keyboard rather than supporting one hand at a time.
Three layers, not one
Natural rubber, foam and gel, so the rest holds its shape underneath instead of bottoming out where your wrists always land.

Singular Expert Insight
The two numbers that decide a wrist rest are length and height, and people only ever check length. Match the 20 mm to the front edge of your keyboard and this is a comfortable, well-anchored rest. See our keyboard accessories and our mouse pads and wrist rests.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You use a compact or tenkeyless keyboard, want gel support under a non-clinging cover, and are tired of the rest sliding forward.
Skip it if
You have a full-size keyboard, you use a very slim board, or you want a mouse wrist rest instead.
Also consider
A 460 mm or 575 mm rest for a full-size keyboard, or the LogiLink ID0136 gel rest if the mouse hand is the problem.
