The LogiLink MP0070 is a pack of 50 shielded Cat.6A RJ45 modular plugs with guide plates, for building Cat.6 and Cat.6A patch cables to exact length. They take solid or stranded conductors of 24, 26 or 27 AWG in a cable with a 5.5–6.5 mm jacket, with conductor insulation up to 1.1 mm. The contacts are gold-plated with three prongs, and the guide plate (load bar) keeps the pairs in order while crimping. In practice they are the plugs for installers who make shielded 10G patch leads on site.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Check the cable before ordering: 24–27 AWG, jacket 5.5–6.5 mm and insulation up to 1.1 mm. Thick 22/23 AWG installation cable (many Cat.7 and some Cat.6A cables) will not fit — LogiLink offers MP0078 for that. Boots and the crimp tool are not included (LogiLink boots: MP0064 for 8.0 mm, MP0066 for 6.5 mm). Unshielded version: MP0071. Send us the cable data sheet and we match the plug.
