The LogiLink NK4042 is a shielded 24-port keystone patch panel for 19-inch racks: a 1U nickel-plated carbon-steel frame in black RAL 9005, with a support bar, an earthing cable, cable ties and mounting screws in the box. It arrives empty: you snap in the keystone jacks or couplers you choose, so the same frame can carry Cat 6 or Cat 6A copper and other keystone inserts. In practice it is a complete starting kit for a 24-port patch field — everything except the jacks is in the box, including the earthing cable a shielded installation needs.

Compatibility — check before buying:
No keystone modules are included — order 24 jacks (or fewer, with blanks) separately. For the panel to work as a shielded installation, fit shielded jacks and connect the included earthing cable to the rack earth. Jacks must be no wider than 17.4 mm. It fits 19-inch racks only, not 10-inch. Not sure which jacks or cabinet you need? Tell us the cable and cabinet model and we check it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are keystone modules included?
No. The NK4042 is an empty frame for 24 keystone modules; LogiLink supplies it without jacks. Order 24 keystone jacks (or fewer, and blank the rest) of the category your cable needs. Tell us the cable and we put the right jacks on the same order.
Which keystone jacks fit?
LogiLink states it takes up to 24 shielded or unshielded keystone jacks up to 17.4 mm wide, fitted without tools. Most standard keystone jacks are narrower than that; if yours is wider or unusually shaped, send us the model and we check it.
Does the frame decide Cat 6 or Cat 6A?
No. The frame only holds the modules. The link performance comes from the keystone jacks and the cable you fit, so a Cat 6A installation needs Cat 6A jacks and Cat 6A cable throughout.
Is there a grey version?
Yes. LogiLink sells the same shielded 24-port panel in light grey RAL 7035 as the NK4041. Colour is the only difference.
