The LogiLink NP0019B is a 12-port Cat 6A shielded wall-mount patch panel in deep black (RAL 9005). It is made to be fixed to a wall or placed on a desk, so it needs no rack or cabinet. The 12 RJ45 sockets on the front take ordinary patch cords, rated for 10 Gbit/s (10GBase-T). In practice it gives the cables coming from wall outlets and ceilings a fixed, labelled end point next to your switch, so that moves and changes are made with short patch cords at the panel instead of re-terminating installation cable.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is the black model — the same panel in light grey is LogiLink NP0019. LogiLink does not state how the cables are terminated, so ask us which tool it needs before installation day. As a shielded panel it only gives its full screening with shielded cable and a grounded rack or earth point; LogiLink does not list an earthing wire.
