The LogiLink PDU8A01 is a 19-inch, 1U rack PDU with eight IEC C13 outlets, integrated surge protection and a fixed cable with an angled Schuko plug, for cabinets where servers, switches and storage use standard C13/C14 power cords but the rack is fed from an ordinary wall socket.

That combination is the practical difference from UPS-style C13 strips: you plug it straight into the wall (or a Schuko UPS output) and connect the C13 cords that came with your equipment, without adapters.

Before you order: There is no on/off switch on this model. Outlets are IEC C13 — devices with Schuko plugs or wall adapters do not fit. Do not confuse it with LogiLink PDU8A02, which has a switch, a C14 inlet and no cable.
