The LogiLink CR0042 combines a three-port USB 3.0 hub with a five-format card reader in one upright desktop block: SD (up to 2 TB), microSD, M2, Memory Stick Duo/Pro and CompactFlash, plus three USB-A ports at up to 5 Gbit/s. It is a multi-LUN reader, so more than one card can be mounted at the same time — useful when you copy between two cards. Part number CR0042 is bus-powered, connects with the supplied 1 m USB-A-to-Micro-USB 3.0 cable and measures 85 × 42 × 48 mm in black.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Host connection is USB-A (the socket on the hub is USB 3.0 Micro-B); a USB-C-only laptop needs an adapter, not included. The hub is bus-powered with no DC input at all, so a bus-powered external hard drive is the predictable failure case — LogiLink publishes no power budget. Card reader speed class is not published, so do not expect UHS-I speeds. No video, no Ethernet, no laptop charging.
