Logitech MK270 — Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo, Hungarian, Black
8 media keysSpill resistantOne receiver36-month battery
The Logitech MK270 (920-004526) is the wireless set that has been on more desks than almost any other, and the reasons are unglamorous and good. The keyboard is full size with a numeric pad and eight media keys for volume, playback and the browser, and it is spill resistant — Logitech tests it with up to 60 ml of liquid. It measures 442 × 149 × 18 mm and weighs 498 g. The mouse is a compact ambidextrous shape with 1000 dpi optical tracking, 99 × 60 × 39 mm and 75 g. Both share one small receiver with about 10 m of range, and the batteries last up to 36 months for the keyboard and 12 months for the mouse. In the box: keyboard, mouse, receiver, batteries and documentation.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Layout: Hungarian QWERTZ swaps Y and Z and puts Ö, Ü, Ó, É, Á and the other Hungarian accented letters on dedicated keys, moving most symbols and brackets compared with a US or UK keyboard. Choose it only if you type in Hungarian; for English use in Cyprus ask us for the US or UK version of the same model. Both devices run through the supplied 2.4 GHz receiver, which needs a free USB-A port — a USB-C-only laptop needs an adapter or a dock. There is no Bluetooth, so the set cannot be paired to a tablet or a phone, and it will not work in the BIOS before the operating system loads. There is no backlight and no palm rest. The mouse is a small travel-sized shape rather than a full-hand ergonomic one: fine for general work, less so for a whole day of design work. Logitech lists Windows 7/8/10 or later and Chrome OS. Note that Logitech does not describe the MK270 receiver as a Unifying receiver on the current page, so do not assume a lost dongle can be replaced with a Unifying one — ask us first.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I pair it with a tablet?
No. There is no Bluetooth — the set works only through the supplied 2.4 GHz receiver in a USB-A port.
What if I lose the receiver?
Logitech does not describe this receiver as a Unifying one on the current page, so a Unifying dongle may not pair. Tell us and we will check the exact receiver model on your set.
Is the mouse comfortable for all-day use?
It is a compact travel shape. If someone is on the mouse all day, add a full-size mouse instead — the keyboard is the good half of this set.
Which layout is this part number?
This one is Hungarian. Logitech builds the MK270 in UK, English International, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Swiss, Belgian, Hungarian, Nordic and other layouts under separate part numbers.
