The Logitech Signature Slim Solar+ K980 (920-013764) is a full-size wireless keyboard that never needs charging: Logi LightCharge harvests energy from daylight and ordinary indoor lighting, so as long as the room is lit you simply type. Logitech rates the reserve at up to four months in complete darkness, and the strip needs at least 200 lux to charge — about the light level of a normal working desk. It is 20.2 mm thin with laptop-style typing, a full number pad, multi-OS printed legends for Windows, macOS and ChromeOS, a customisable Action key and a dedicated AI launch key that opens Copilot on Windows or Gemini on ChromeOS. Compatibility — check before buying:
This keyboard is Bluetooth Low Energy only — no receiver is included; a Logi Bolt USB receiver is sold separately for computers without Bluetooth. It works with Windows 10/11, macOS 12+, Linux, ChromeOS, iPadOS/iOS 15+ and Android 12+. There is no battery to replace and no charging port: it needs light. In a windowless room or a very dim office the reserve runs to about four months, then it needs a lit desk again. The AI key opens Microsoft Copilot on Windows or Gemini on ChromeOS where available — the AI service itself may need its own account, and the key can be remapped in Logi Options+. Layout: US International QWERTY is the layout most people in Cyprus type on: wide Enter key, @ above 2. If your current keyboard is UK layout, the Enter key changes shape and a few symbols move, but letters and numbers are identical.
