Trodat Printy 4.0 Typomatic 4911 — DIY Self-Inking Text Stamp
37 × 13 mm imprintUp to 3 linesLetter set includedBlack ink
The Trodat Printy 4.0 Typomatic 4911 is a self-inking text stamp you set up yourself: a 37 × 13 mm imprint area, a letter set to compose up to three lines of text, and a black ink cartridge — ready for a company name, address or a short note such as "PAID" or "RECEIVED".
Because the text is made from loose type, you can change it as often as you like, which makes it a practical stamp for small offices, shops and anyone who wants a stamp today without ordering a custom plate. This version has a pastel creme handle with the eco-black housing, and is made in Austria.
Before you order: Typomatic is limited to about three lines of small text. For a logo or four lines of text you need a custom-made 4911 plate instead of the DIY letter set.
What's in the Box
- Trodat Printy 4.0 4911 self-inking stamp, pastel creme handle
- Black ink cartridge (fitted)
- Typomatic letter set for composing your text
What It Means in Practice
- Compose your text with the supplied letters and change it whenever details change.
- The stamp re-inks itself after every impression; no separate ink pad is needed.
- When the ink runs low, swap in a 6/4911 replacement cartridge (black, blue, red, green, violet).
- Water-based ink, indelible to DIN ISO 14145-2, so imprints do not wash off documents.
What Will Not Work
- It cannot print a logo or graphics — only text from the letter set.
- More than three lines will not fit legibly with the Typomatic letters.
- It is not a dater; dates must be set as text.
