The PLANET PWR-480-48 is a 480 W, 48 V DC single-output industrial DIN-rail power supply. PLANET lists it as based on the MEAN WELL XDR-480E-48, and builds the range to feed industrial Ethernet equipment — typically PLANET industrial PoE switches — in control cabinets. It delivers 48 V at 10 A from a wide 85–264 V AC (50/60 Hz) or 127–370 V DC input, clips onto a TS-35/7.5 or TS-35/15 rail, and is cooled by free-air convection. Protection covers short circuit, overload, over-voltage and over-temperature. PLANET publishes 48 × 125 × 125 mm and 890 g for hardware version 3.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Check the DC input of the device you will power. Many PoE switches need 51–56 V at their DC input to deliver full 802.3at/bt power, so a 48 V nominal supply may limit the PoE output — confirm the switch’s requirement first. PLANET’s figures apply to hardware version 3; earlier versions used different MEAN WELL units. Full output up to 70 °C follows the derating curve in the product specification.
