MediaRange Mini CD-R 200MB 22min 24x silver unprinted Shrink 50 — 50 × 200 MB / 22 min, 24x
50 discs200 MB / 22 minUp to 24xShrink 50
The MediaRange Mini CD-R 200MB 22min 24x silver unprinted Shrink 50 is a 50-pack of 8 cm Mini CD-R discs (200 MB / 22 min, up to 24x) supplied as a shrink-wrapped stack with no spindle base or cake box — for small-format distribution such as promo, driver or presentation discs where a full 12 cm CD is unnecessary.
The shiny silver surface is unprinted (no logo) for professional use and, according to MediaRange, suits thermal-transfer printing and CD/DVD/BD markers; MediaRange also lists UV and scratch resistance.
Spindle-style packs are the most economical per disc for in-house burning; if discs will be handed out, add sleeves or cases for the ones that leave the office.
Before you order: 8 cm discs are for tray-loading drives only — not for slot-loading drives.
What's in the Box
- 50 × MediaRange 8 cm Mini CD-R discs, 200 MB / 22 min, supplied as a shrink-wrapped stack with no spindle base or cake box
- No storage case — plan sleeves, cases or a spindle box if the discs will be kept or handed out
- No burning software is included — Windows, macOS and most Linux desktops can burn discs with their built-in tools or any burning application
What It Means in Practice
- Each 8 cm disc holds 200 MB of data or 22 minutes of audio — enough for drivers, manuals, a presentation or a short music EP
- Tray-loading CD/DVD drives hold 8 cm discs in the small inner recess of the tray; burn them like any other CD-R
- Up to 24x is the maximum write speed; the drive chooses the actual speed
What Will Not Work
- Discs are not usable without an optical drive — most current laptops have none, so you will need an external USB CD/DVD writer
- CD-R is write-once: data cannot be erased or overwritten — for reusable discs choose CD-RW
- A CD holds 200 MB — for larger files or full backups use DVD, Blu-ray, a USB flash drive or an external drive
- 8 cm mini discs must not go into slot-loading drives (common in car stereos and some all-in-one PCs and older laptops) — they can jam; use a tray-loading drive

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I add files to a CD-R later?
Yes, if you burn in multisession mode and do not close (finalise) the disc. Each session uses some extra space, and deleted files still occupy space on the disc.
Will an 8 cm disc work in my drive?
Tray-loading CD and DVD drives have a smaller inner recess for 8 cm discs. Slot-loading drives — common in cars and some compact computers — are not suitable.
Will other computers read the disc?
Yes. A finalised CD-R reads in practically any CD, DVD or Blu-ray drive, on Windows, macOS or Linux.
Can I print on these discs?
No — the label side is not designed for inkjet printing. Write on it with a soft-tip CD/DVD marker, or choose a printable version.
How should I store burned discs?
Upright in their cases, away from sunlight, heat and humidity, and handled by the edges. Keep important data on a second copy as well.
