The X shape spreads the grip across the back of the tablet, which suits users who hold the device for long periods in either portrait or landscape.
Before you order: The strap is listed by Mobilis as compatible with its cases 065026 (8") and 065027 (10"). It attaches to the case, not to a bare tablet.
