MSI FORGE GM340 WIRELESS VIOLET — 57g Tri-Mode Gaming Mouse with 82-Hour Battery
57 g12000 DPI PAW33112.4GHz · BT 5.2 · USB-CUp to 82 h
The MSI FORGE GM340 WIRELESS VIOLET is a 57-gram ambidextrous gaming mouse with a PixArt PAW3311 sensor up to 12000 DPI and three connection modes — 2.4GHz dongle, Bluetooth 5.2 and USB-C wired — for gamers who want a very light wireless mouse in a soft violet (lilac) finish with up to 82 hours of battery life.
Switches are rated for 50 million clicks in MSI's spec table, and a DPI status indicator shows the active step without opening software. Six buttons, RGB lighting and a 1.8m paracord USB-C cable for charging and wired play complete the design.
Before you order: MSI's Violet colour is a light lilac-pink tone, as in the photos. MSI lists Windows 10 and later.
What's in the Box
- MSI FORGE GM340 WIRELESS VIOLET mouse
- 2.4GHz USB receiver
- 1.8m paracord USB-A to USB-C cable
What It Means in Practice
- Up to 82 hours means roughly two to three weeks of evening gaming between charges.
- The DPI indicator lets you check the active sensitivity at a glance.
- At 57g and 122mm long it suits small-to-medium hands and claw grips best.
- Bluetooth 5.2 lets you use it with a laptop without the dongle.
What Will Not Work
- It is not an ergonomic right-hand mouse; there is no thumb rest.
- Polling is 1000 Hz, not 4000/8000 Hz.
- MSI does not publish macOS or console support.
- Six buttons only — MMO players needing many side keys should look elsewhere.
