The MSI MPG CoreLiquid P22 240 is an all-in-one liquid CPU cooler with a 240mm aluminium radiator, 2 pre-installed 120mm CycloBlade 7 ARGB fans and a pump head carrying a 2.1-inch round IPS display — built for gamers and PC builders who want strong cooling on current Intel and AMD desktop platforms plus a screen that can show temperatures, a clock or their own images. The black finish covers the pump head, tubing, radiator and fans.
MSI fits the cooler with a screwless copper base with 0.1mm micro-channels, a 27.2mm-thick radiator with widened water channels (MSI quotes 25% more flow) and a 3400 RPM pump rated for 50,000 hours at 40°C. The UNI bracket comes pre-installed, and a magnetic EZ Cap hides the mounting hardware once the block is in place.
Before you order: You need a case with a 240mm radiator mount (top or front) and clearance for a 27.2mm radiator plus 25mm fans. The cooler supports Intel LGA1851/LGA1700 and AMD AM5/AM4 only — older sockets are not listed by MSI.

What It Means in Practice
- The fans arrive already mounted, so installation is mainly attaching the radiator to the case and the pump head to the CPU — no fan screws to sort.
- The LCD is driven by MSI EZ DISPLAY: you can show custom text, your own images or media, clock themes and system information, and change font colours.
- ARGB lighting syncs through MSI Center (Mystic Light) with compatible motherboards.
- At 500-2000 RPM the fans can run quietly at idle and ramp up under load; MSI rates them at 31.1 dBA at full speed.
What Will Not Work
- It will not fit sockets other than LGA1851, LGA1700, AM5 and AM4 (no LGA1200/1151 or AM3 in MSI's list).
- It will not fit a case that has no 240mm radiator position — check your case manual before ordering.
- The display does not work as a second monitor; it shows MSI EZ DISPLAY content only.
- ARGB is Gen1 addressable RGB; a motherboard without an ARGB (5V 3-pin) header cannot control the lighting directly.

A 240mm AIO is a good match for mainstream CPUs in cases that cannot take a 360mm radiator. The P22 adds a real display on the pump without needing extra fans or a separate controller. When upgrading cooling, it is also worth checking the rest of the build — our PC power supplies range lists units with the headroom modern CPUs and GPUs need.
