MSI MAG A750BN PCIE5 III 750W ATX 3.1 Power Supply, 80 PLUS Bronze, Non-Modular, Native 12V-2x6 (PCIe 5.1), 120mm Fan
MSI MAG A750BN PCIE5 III — 750W ATX 3.1 Power Supply with Native 12V-2x6
The MSI MAG A750BN PCIE5 III is a 750W ATX power supply with 80 PLUS Bronze efficiency, ATX 3.1 / PCIe 5.1 support and a native 12V-2x6 (16-pin) GPU connector rated at 450W — aimed at gaming and everyday desktop builds that want a current-standard PSU without paying for modular cables.
It is a single +12V rail design (62.5A) with DC-to-DC conversion, active PFC and a 120mm hydraulic-bearing fan. The 12V-2x6 cable is dual-coloured with a yellow connector, so you can see when it is fully seated in the graphics card. The cables are fixed (non-modular) and use a flat, embossed jacket that is easier to route than round sleeved bundles.
What's in the Box
- MSI MAG A750BN PCIE5 III power supply with fixed (non-modular) cables
- MSI does not publish an itemised box list for this model (power cord, screws and manual are not confirmed) — ask us if you need it checked before ordering
What It Means in Practice
- A modern GPU with a 16-pin connector plugs straight in — no adapter needed up to 450W on that connector.
- Two EPS 4+4 leads cover motherboards that need 8+8 or 8+4 CPU power.
- 80 PLUS Bronze means up to 85% efficiency: fine for gaming systems; Gold units run cooler under constant heavy load.
- The 200% power excursion rating means short GPU power spikes are absorbed as the ATX 3.1 spec requires.
What Will Not Work
- It is not modular — you cannot remove unused cables or swap in custom cable kits.
- It is ATX size; it will not fit SFX-only small form factor cases.
- The 12V-2x6 connector is rated 450W; a GPU that needs more than that on the 16-pin connector needs a higher-wattage unit.
- There are 3 PCIe 6+2 connectors and 3 SATA connectors only — builds with many drives may need splitters.
