The MSI PRO B840-S EVO WIFI6E is an ATX motherboard for AMD Socket AM5 with the entry-level B840 chipset, made for Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 processors in office, home and value gaming PCs.

It provides four DDR5 slots (up to 256GB), a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot from the CPU, three M.2 sockets, Realtek 2.5G LAN, a pre-installed Wi-Fi 6E module with Bluetooth 5.3 and an HDMI 2.1 output for processors with integrated graphics.

Before you order: B840 has no PCIe 5.0: the graphics slot and all M.2 sockets run at PCIe 4.0 or 3.0 — a Gen5 SSD will work but at Gen4 speed. Ryzen 8000 processors also reduce M.2_2 to PCIe 3.0 (x2 with Ryzen 8500/8300).
