Genesis Zircon 660 — Black

Tri-mode: 2.4 GHz / Bluetooth / USB-CPixArt PAW3311, 12,000 DPI59 g, Huano 90M switchesUp to 80 h, 400 mAh

The Genesis Zircon 660 in Black (NMG-2191, from the natec group) is a 59 g gaming mouse with three connection modes — 2.4 GHz RapidSpeed, Bluetooth 5.0 and wired over the 1.8 m paracord USB-C cable. Genesis publishes a PixArt PAW3311 sensor with 200 to 12,000 DPI at 1000 Hz, six programmable buttons on Huano Purple switches rated for 90 million clicks, a TTC encoder, onboard memory with macros, nine backlight modes and a 400 mAh battery rated for up to 80 hours. Genesis covers it with a 24-month warranty.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Right-hand layout with the side buttons on the left. Bluetooth is for laptops and everyday use; gaming belongs on the 2.4 GHz receiver or the cable for 1000 Hz. The receiver is USB-A; the cable is USB-A to USB-C. Genesis software runs on Windows; the mouse works plug-and-play on Linux and Android. Genesis does not publish the charge time. The Zircon 660 PRO (26,000 DPI) is a different product.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I game over Bluetooth on the Zircon 660?
Bluetooth works for everyday use on a laptop; for gaming use the 2.4 GHz receiver or the cable to get the full 1000 Hz polling.
What is the difference between the Zircon 660 and the Zircon 660 PRO?
The PRO uses a higher-end sensor (26,000 DPI); the standard 660 has the PixArt PAW3311 at 12,000 DPI and costs less.
Is it suitable for left-handed players?
The side buttons are on the left, so it is a right-handed layout.
Which colour is NMG-2191?
Black. The other colour is a separate part number.
Singular Expert Insight
The Zircon 660 is the cheapest tri-mode gaming mouse in our wireless mice with a sub-60 g weight and a PixArt sensor, which makes it the value alternative to the MSI VERSA 300 Elite Wireless. The CHERRY XTRFY M68 Wireless is lighter and higher-spec but has no Bluetooth. A docking stations gives the receiver a USB-A port on a USB-C laptop.
