Neomounts NSLS300 — Vertical Holder for a Closed Laptop, 11"–17"
11"–17"Up to 5 kgVerticalGrey
The Neomounts NSLS300 is a grey aluminium vertical laptop holder that stands a closed 11"–17" laptop (up to 5 kg) upright on the desk, for users who run their laptop in clamshell mode with external monitors, keyboard and mouse.
Standing the laptop on its edge frees desk space and leaves both sides of the chassis open to the air. The holder measures about 15 × 9.2 × 4.2 cm and is assembled from two parts.
Before you order: This is a vertical storage holder, not a riser — the laptop is closed while it sits in it. You need external monitors and peripherals, usually through a docking station.
What's in the Box
- 2 × Holder parts (A and B) — Neomounts NSLS300
What It Means in Practice
- Close the laptop, slide it into the holder and connect it to your dock or monitors.
- Saves the full footprint of an open laptop on the desk.
- Air can circulate around both sides of the chassis, which helps when the laptop works closed.
- Universal fit for laptops from 11" to 17" up to 5 kg.
What Will Not Work
- Using the laptop screen or keyboard while it is in the holder.
- Laptops heavier than 5 kg.
- Tablets or phones without a laptop-like thickness.
- Displays, keyboards and docks — not included.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
A vertical holder is ideal in clamshell setups: the laptop disappears from the desk and a dock does the connecting. Pair it with one of our docking stations for one-cable monitors, network and charging.
✓ Buy it if you run your laptop closed with external monitors and want it off the desk surface.
✕ Skip it if you need the laptop screen open and raised — choose a riser instead.
→ Also consider Kensington Easy Riser or Gembird NBS-D1-01 if you use the laptop screen.
Not sure your laptop fits? Send us the model and we will check thickness and weight before you order.
