The Olympia A 2250 is an A4 hot-and-cold pouch laminator with a 230 mm entry that takes pouches from 75 all the way up to 250 micron at 350 mm per minute, for offices and schools that want rigid, card-like results as well as everyday lamination.
LEDs show power, the selected pouch thickness and when the unit is ready; warm-up time depends on the thickness chosen, from about 1.5 minutes for thin pouches. A jam-release button and overheat protection are built in.
Before you order: Warm-up gets longer with thicker pouches: about 1.5 min for 75–100 micron, 3.5 min for 125–175 micron and 4.5 min for 200–250 micron.

What It Means in Practice
- Select the pouch-thickness setting; the LED tells you when the rollers have reached the right temperature.
- 250 micron pouches produce a stiff, near-rigid sheet — ideal for price cards, instructions on a workbench or menus.
- At 350 mm/min an A4 pouch passes in under a minute.
- Maximum total laminate thickness is 0.6 mm.
- Cold mode is for self-adhesive cold pouches and heat-sensitive prints; the jam-release button on the back frees the rollers if a pouch goes in crooked.
What Will Not Work
- No A3: anything wider than 230 mm will not fit.
- Pouches thicker than 250 micron are outside the published range.
- Ordinary hot pouches will not seal in cold mode.
- Heat-sensitive thermal paper should not go through in hot mode.
