What It Means in Practice
- Choose which Gigabit ports operate as LAN or WAN. Up to four WAN connections can be active for load balancing and automatic failover; this does not combine every connection into one faster single download.
- The built-in network application manages compatible Omada devices. The manufacturer recommends up to 30 devices and 300 clients; actual capacity depends on the deployment and software.
- Use the Omada App for Bluetooth-assisted onboarding. Cloud and controller features depend on connected devices, software versions and deployment mode.
What Will Not Work
- The Gigabit LAN/WAN ports remain 1 Gbps interfaces even though the dedicated WAN port supports 2.5 Gbps.
