PanzerGlass Magnetic 2-Way Privacy Film for MacBook Pro 14.2-inch M1 to M5, Removable Side-View Privacy Screen

The PanzerGlass Magnetic 2-Way Privacy Film (PG49662) is a removable privacy screen sized for the MacBook Pro 14.2-inch (M1 to M5), designed for anyone who opens a MacBook on a train, in a café, at a shared desk or in an open-plan office and does not want neighbours reading the screen.

It is a soft film, not tempered glass, and it attaches magnetically, so you put it on when you need privacy and take it off when you want the full, bright picture back. PanzerGlass describes the privacy as 2-way: people sitting to your left and right see a darkened screen, while you look at it straight on.

• 1 × PanzerGlass magnetic 2-way privacy film sized for the MacBook Pro 14.2" M1–M5
• PanzerGlass does not publish a detailed list of accessories included with the film

• Side-view privacy: someone next to you on a flight or in a meeting room sees a dark panel instead of your emails, spreadsheets or client data.
• Removable: because it is magnetic and not glued, the screen goes back to normal the moment you take the film off, for example when you present or share the screen with a colleague.
• Expect the picture to look slightly dimmer straight on while the film is attached; this is how every privacy filter works, so many users raise the brightness a step or two.
• The film also covers the display surface while it is on, which PanzerGlass describes as protection from scratches and everyday wear.

• It will not fit other MacBook sizes or generations than the ones listed for this item, and it is not designed for Windows laptops.
• The 2-way filter blocks viewing from the left and right sides. It does not hide the screen from someone standing directly behind you.
• It is a soft film, not tempered glass, so it is not an impact or drop protector for the display.
• PanzerGlass does not publish whether the lid can be closed with the film attached, so plan to take it off before closing the MacBook.
