Parker IM Fountain Pen — Matte Blue Lacquer, Chrome Trim, Medium Nib
Fountain penMedium steel nibMatte Blue CTGift box
The Parker IM Fountain Pen 1931654 is a capped fountain pen in matte blue lacquer with chrome-coated trim and the Parker arrow clip, fitted with a stainless steel Medium nib and supplied with a blue QUINK cartridge in a Parker gift box — a dependable everyday pen and a classic choice for a business or graduation gift.
The IM sits in Parker's Essential range: a lacquered brass body and cap give it a solid, balanced feel without the price of the premium lines, and the Medium nib lays down a smooth, even line that suits most handwriting.
Before you order: Parker fountain pens take Parker QUINK cartridges, not standard international cartridges. A converter for bottled ink is not included.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Parker IM fountain pen, matte blue lacquer, chrome trim, Medium nib (1931654)
- 1 × Parker QUINK long cartridge, blue
- Parker gift box
What It Means in Practice
- Write straight out of the box: insert the included blue QUINK cartridge and the pen is ready.
- Medium (M) is the all-round nib width — a little bolder than Fine, smooth on standard office paper and signature-friendly.
- The lacquered brass construction feels weightier than plastic pens and the cap posts securely while writing.
- Comes gift-boxed, so it is ready for corporate gifting, anniversaries or graduations.
What Will Not Work
- Standard international (short/long) cartridges from other brands — use Parker QUINK cartridges.
- Bottled ink straight away — that needs a Parker converter, sold separately.
- Engraving or personalisation is not included.
- Not a ballpoint or rollerball: refills for those Parker IM versions do not fit a fountain pen.
