Parker IM Ballpoint Pen — Black Lacquer with Gold Trim
Black Lacquer GTClick mechanismQuinkflow blue · MGift box
The Parker IM ballpoint pen in Black Lacquer with Gold Trim (1931666) is a refillable, click-action ballpoint with Parker’s Quinkflow blue ink in a medium point, presented in a Parker gift box — an everyday business pen that also works as a corporate or personal gift.
The black lacquer over a brass body with gold-tone trim is the classic executive combination — understated in a meeting, formal enough for a signing.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Parker IM ballpoint pen, Black Lacquer with Gold Trim
- 1 × Quinkflow ballpoint refill, blue, medium (installed)
- Parker gift box
What It Means in Practice
- Click mechanism — one-handed use, no cap to lose
- Quinkflow ink is Parker’s smooth-writing ballpoint ink; medium point gives a clear, everyday line
- When the ink runs out you replace the refill, not the pen
- The gift box makes it ready to hand over to clients or staff without extra packaging
What Will Not Work
- Rollerball or fountain-pen refills — this is a ballpoint body
- Third-party gel refills — Parker does not state gel-refill compatibility for the IM; ask us before ordering
- Other ink colours out of the box — it ships with blue; black Quinkflow refills are sold separately
- Engraving — not included; contact us if you need personalisation

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The Parker IM sits in the sweet spot between disposable pens and luxury writing instruments: metal-feel weight, a familiar Parker refill and a gift box, at a price that works for corporate gifting in quantity. Keep spare Quinkflow refills on hand and the pen lasts for years. More pens and desk supplies are in our office stationery range.
✓ Buy it if you want a refillable branded ballpoint for daily business use or as a gift.
✕ Skip it if you prefer gel, rollerball or fountain-pen writing.
→ Also consider Parker IM Brushed Metal GT ballpoint (1931670) for a metallic look.
