The Parker Jotter Originals Classic Red (2096857) is the classic Jotter retractable ballpoint pen with a classic red plastic barrel, a stainless steel cap with chrome trim and a medium 0.7 mm Quinkflow refill writing in blue — a pen for everyday office notes, signatures and gifting.

Jotter Originals is the colourful, lighter version of the Jotter design Parker has made since 1954: a scratch-resistant plastic body instead of all-metal, the familiar arrow clip and the click that opens and closes the point. Newell, Parker's parent company, lists the pen as made with at least 55% recycled materials (refill excluded) and supplied in plastic-free recyclable packaging.

• Medium 0.7 mm is the everyday line: clear enough for forms and signatures, fine enough for notebooks and diaries.
• Quinkflow ink starts first time and flows evenly, so it suits people who write on and off through the day.
• When the ink runs out you replace the refill, not the pen — any Parker QUINK ballpoint refill fits, and Parker gel refills fit too if you prefer a smoother, darker line.
• The click mechanism means there is no cap to lose — useful on a desk, in a jacket pocket or in a shared reception.

• It is not a gel or rollerball pen out of the box — the fitted refill is a ballpoint. For a gel line, fit a Parker gel refill (sold separately).
• Non-Parker refills of a different standard (for example short D1 mini refills or Cross-type refills) will not fit the Jotter barrel.
• The ink is blue, not black. For black ink, change to a black Parker QUINK refill.
• It is a single pen in a blister, not a gift box set — there is no presentation box included.
