Pattex Montage Power (PXP37) is a one-component, water-based mounting adhesive in a 370 g cartridge, made for DIY users, installers and facility teams who need to fix skirting boards, decorative mouldings, panels and cable ducts to walls without drilling.

The solvent-free dispersion adhesive grabs immediately with an initial tack of up to 150 kg/m², so light parts hold in place without support, yet they can still be repositioned for 5 to 15 minutes. It bonds absorbent building materials such as ceramic, concrete, interior plaster, aerated concrete, fibre cement, plasterboard, wood, MDF and chipboard, and also PVC skirting boards, fills minor unevenness and can be used indoors and outdoors. After curing it can be painted over with water-based acrylic paint.

Before you order: This is a cartridge, not a squeeze bottle — you need a standard caulking (cartridge) gun, which is not included. At least one of the two surfaces must be absorbent.

What Will Not Work

  • Does not bond PE, PP, PTFE (Teflon) or acrylic glass.
  • Not for natural stone or mirrors (staining risk).
  • Not for permanent water immersion, standing moisture or direct weather exposure.
  • Not for bonding two non-absorbent surfaces (e.g. metal to glass) — the water-based adhesive needs an absorbent substrate to cure.

Yes. It comes in a standard 370 g cartridge for a caulking gun, which is sold separately.
Can I glue a mirror with it?
No — Henkel lists mirrors and natural stone as unsuitable. Use a dedicated mirror adhesive.
