Pattex Spray Permanent (PXSP8) is a 200 ml aerosol spray adhesive from Henkel for permanent, even bonding of paper, card, photos, posters, textiles, plastics, PE film, metal, wood and polyester surfaces, on porous and non-porous materials alike. It is the adhesive for mounting prints and posters on board, model-making, presentation displays and craft work.
A three-position adjustable nozzle lets you switch between a fine and a wide spray pattern, so you can coat a small photo or a large poster evenly without lumps or wrinkles. Spray one side for light materials, or both sides for a stronger contact bond.
Before you order: It does not bond polypropylene (PP), PTFE, natural stone, marble or travertine and is not for underwater use. On Styrofoam, spray only the other surface — never the foam itself.

What It Means in Practice
- For paper and photos, spray one side and press on.
- For heavier materials, spray both sides, let them flash off about 10–15 minutes, then join within roughly 10 minutes.
- Cured bonds withstand -30 °C to +70 °C.
- After use, turn the can upside down and spray briefly to clear the nozzle so it works next time.
- Use in a well-ventilated area and protect surrounding surfaces from overspray.
What Will Not Work
- No bond on PP, PTFE, natural stone, marble or travertine.
- Not repositionable — this is the permanent version.
- Not for underwater or permanently wet applications.
- Do not spray directly onto Styrofoam (EPS) — it attacks the foam.
