Pelikan Pina Colada Edition ink roller — olive metallic, blue erasable ink
Ink rollerOlive metallicBlue erasable inkLeft & right hand
The Pelikan Pina Colada Edition ink roller (Pelikan article 824408) is a cartridge-filled rollerball pen with an olive metallic finish that writes in blue erasable ink and is refilled with standard or large Pelikan ink cartridges. It suits students and office users who want the smooth line of a rollerball with the ink-eraser convenience of a school fountain pen.
The Edition version of Pelikan’s Pina Colada line adds a ribbed, textured barrel to the shimmering metallic paint of cap and barrel. Pelikan describes the pen as super light, suitable for left- and right-handers, and made in Europe.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Pelikan Pina Colada Edition ink roller, olive metallic
- 1 × small (standard) ink cartridge, blue erasable
- Folding box
What It Means in Practice
- Because it runs on ink cartridges rather than a rollerball refill, you replace the cartridge when it is empty — the same cartridges used in Pelikan school fountain pens.
- The blue ink is erasable with an ink eraser, which helps for school work and notes.
- You can switch to the large 4001 TP/6 cartridges for longer writing between changes.
What Will Not Work
- Rollerball refills (for example Pelikano or Twist refills) — this pen takes ink cartridges, not refills
- Long international cartridges — Pelikan only states standard and large-capacity cartridges for this pen
- Erasability with other ink colours — Pelikan describes only the blue / royal blue ink as erasable
Key Features

Metal clip

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Pelikan’s Pina Colada is its own ink-roller line, not a version of the Twist or Pelikano, and the Edition adds a textured barrel in mauve, olive or anthracite. Because it runs on standard Pelikan cartridges, refills are easy to find. See more writing supplies in our stationery range.
✓ Buy it if you want a light cartridge rollerball with erasable blue ink for school or office.
✕ Skip it if you prefer a pen that takes rollerball refills or a published fine line width.
→ Also consider the Pina Colada Edition in mauve or anthracite, or Pelikan 4001 TP/6 large cartridges as spares.
